Hi Kendall! Here are some points you might consider:
- Implied Tenancy Rights: Even if you're not on the lease, you may still have rights as an implied tenant due to your financial contributions and residency.
- Eviction Process: In California, formal eviction requires a court order. Your boyfriend can't legally force you out without this process.
- Domestic Relations Legal Aid: Seek legal advice from local legal aid organizations for support in domestic situations.

what about my daughters name being on the lease
Given that your daughter's name is on the lease, it adds an extra layer of protection. Here are a few points to consider:
- Rights Under the Lease: Since your daughter's name is on the lease, she has tenant rights. Your boyfriend cannot evict her without following legal procedures.
- Custodial Rights: As her guardian, you can argue that her inclusion on the lease grants you certain rights to stay in the home with her.

- Communication: Try to maintain a record of communications regarding your tenancy and financial contributions.
