Hello Britany, nice to meet you. Could you please tell me more about the legal issue you're facing?
i live in a income based apartment in Indiana. For the last 2 year the have refused to do any repairs. And in my lease it states they have to complete all repairs themselves. For example about 2 years ago there was a pipe leak from my upstairs washer and caused my downstairs to flood. I had informed them of the issue and showed them the damages. Now 2 years later when I was gone, a huge section of the ceiling cam down and exposed what I believe is mold. Not to mention it also states in the lease if there is ever a pest problem they have to take care of it basically stating I can’t do anything or I will be evicted. Well I have be dealing with bed bugs for a little over 2 year and yes they were informed of the issue.

No it was all verbal. But I do have witnesses of all this.
