Hi Jakkii! How can I assist you with your legal issue today?
My lease was in the process of being renewed and due to recalculations I was told to wait and they would inform me when it would be ready to sign but never did. In the process of waiting an overdue balance occurred. I had to apply for assistance with a housing assistance program and he said ok even signing the request form. The local office ran out of funds and I had to reapply with a different agency. Since no partial payments were being accepted and the lease was still being worked on we stayed in constant contact. They were in agreement up until the point that I was actually granted a pledge through veterans assistance. The assistance agent tried for weeks to touch base with him about bringing the account to a positive balance but was ignored, as was I. When he finally spoke with the Veterans Assistance specialist who was wanted to pay my outstanding balance in full he declined to accept it stating that he felt like we weren't going to be financially stable enough to maintain it afterwards because he noticed that we had gotten assistance a couple times prior as well and suggested that we find a more suitable neighborhood to meet our needs and informed her that he would be iniating the eviction process instead. She called me immediately to let me know. I went in to inquire about it and he then lied and said he never spoke with her nor did anyone else. I called her back and she specifically said she spoke with him. I was then quickly evicted for non payment of rent and have been homeless ever since.
