landlord and tenancy plus electricity distribution company issue
Hey there! Could you share a bit more about your situation with your landlord and the electricity distribution company? That way, I can provide more specific information that might help you.
a prepaid meter was installed in my apartment but unfortunately it didn't work, so I called back the distribution company worker who installed it to come fix it. he came the following day and found that the supplied electricity meter has not been activated, hence he connected me directly, more like a bypass just so i could have power for the time being. however, i was told to goto the office to complain which i have not been chanced to do, it's being about 2 months now and the company has filled a complaint that i bypassed and have not been paying for power. my landlord is now in the mix, but i wasn't the one who bypassed their worker did and i expected them to activate or fix their meter themselves not me running after them

It sounds like a frustrating situation. Here are a few things you might consider:
- Document all communication with the electricity company and the worker who performed the bypass.
- Contact the company's customer service to explain the situation and reiterate that you didn't perform the bypass.
- Discuss the situation with your landlord, providing any evidence of the worker's actions.
How has your landlord responded to the situation so far?
good bye
