Who can a renter contact for assistance with this issue. (Asking for someone else). Here's what they wrote about it.when a property manager does not maintain the property. Vinyl flooring is peeling up and is a terrible trip Hazzard. There was a guest that did trip and fall. The tenant is an elderly person with walking issues anyway and uses a wheelchair at times. It has been reported to the property manager numerous times with no resolution. They have sent * different people out to look and get estimates

Like I said, I'm asking for this elderly lady. I just wanted to be able to offer her some direction of what options she may have. As far as getting an attorney, it sounds like they don't have the money to do that.

Would HUD housing be able to provide any assistance? (I don't know if it's a section * house or not), does HUD housing get involved with all rental properties or just section * properties
Case Rating: *
Lesa, HUD generally provides assistance for Section * and other federally subsidized housing programs. Here's what you should know:
- Section * Housing: HUD directly oversees these properties.
- Other Rental Properties: HUD may not directly intervene but can offer guidance.
For non-Section * properties, reaching out to local housing authorities and legal aid would be more effective.
