I live in NC. I received an eviction notice went to court and chose the stay and pay option. I was unable to pay in 10 days so on the 10th day I filed for an appeal as an indigent and also a filed a bond so the sheriffs could not remove me from my home. I may be in a position soon to pay my arrears as well as be current on my payment.
