I had my self storage unit auctioned off illegally

There were no bids on the first auction I was later told that I had lost any rights to my unit when the unit did not sell at auction. The unit went up for auction again and I paid the balance of $* four days prior to the second auction, according to them, I had a $* balance. I went and paid the balance on the day of the auction and was paid in full prior to any bidder completing a sale at the property, which, according to public storages information on the auction, clearly gave me a the right to my property. That is also backed up by Colorado statute
