I have mowed and removed tall weeds. Also I have removed some of the debris. Straightened up and haul away some.
What is the current status of your property? Have you received any further communication from the Hocking township after you cleaned up?
I sent a text message stating what I have done and asking the inspector what else is required to appease the township. I also explained that I was working towards removal of a couple of vehicles in the back of the house. One has a current license and the other is unlicensed.
What was the response from the inspector after you sent the text message?
He has not responded. We don't have a good history. This fight started with a * Chris Craft cruiser setting in my front yard and has escalated into him getting sheriff deputies to accompany him to the house.
What is the current condition of your property? Have you managed to remove all the debris and the unlicensed vehicle?
I am not removing the construction materials as I am hoping to build a shop on the property. As far as the vehicle goes it's been in the yard for ove 12 years. I did however jack it up and put gravel under the tires and attached a pull bar the the front bumper so it can be pulled out and brought around front so I can get it sold.
Are the construction materials and the vehicle considered as debris or junk by the Hocking township?
When I last talked with a actual trustee, Gail?, she told me to move the materials around to the backside of the house. I did that
What was the response from the township after you moved the materials to the backside of the house?
The inspector thinks anything he says is gospel and I should jump at his every command.
Have you considered seeking legal advice or representation to help you navigate this situation with the Hocking township inspector?
The last time he showed up with sheriff's deputies he was also wearing a side arm and kept fiddling with it while talking to me. Made me extremely nervous.
Have you reported this incident to any higher authority or considered filing a complaint against the inspector's behavior?
This issue is the latest in a string of interactions
Have you documented these interactions and the state of your property? It could be useful if you decide to take legal action.
My talking with you is my first-time with seeking legal advice
Have you taken any photos or videos of your property as evidence of your cleanup efforts?
No but I can.
What is the current condition of your property after the cleanup and moving the construction materials?
Still cluttered but better. It's my property. I tinker and build and weld and repair lawn mowers and restore boats.

Yes, him and the trustee's

To move them around back. The shed that was back there fell down and while cleaning that up and removing it I was informed I would not be able to put it back where it was
Why were you informed that you couldn't put the shed back where it was?
It was just a couple ft from the backyard property lines. It was now going to have to be 15ft off the existing property lines
What is the specific ordinance or law that requires the shed to be 15ft off the property lines?
That I'm not sure about. They have * pages of rules
What is the specific rule or ordinance number they cited for the 15ft requirement for the shed?
