I need to know who is legally responsible for the grounds of mobile home parks in PA
Hi ****! Generally, in Pennsylvania, the owner or operator of a mobile home park is legally responsible for maintaining the common areas, including the grounds. This includes ensuring that the grounds are safe and well-maintained for the residents.
Is there a specific issue you are facing with the maintenance of the grounds? This might help provide more precise information.
I own my trailer but rent the lot it sits on. I have been having electrical issues inside my home. After months of issues, paying people to address the issues, and multiple things in my trailer being shorted out & ruined by the faulty electric it was discovered that a tree on the property was growing up the electrical pole & broke the wire from the pole into my house. The power company was called. They repaired the wire & told me that it was the tree that caused the wire to break. Was it the mobile home park owners responsibility to have had that tree removed & are they responsible for the damages caused by their negligence in leaving that tree to grow into the wires?
