Need to know how to go about obtaining a title that was lost and the title holder was going to get a duplicate and sign over to me but he is ill with cancer and decided he didnt want to deal with it and wont help me get it transferred to me. He gave it to his nephew and then his nephew gave it to my friends son. Neither one of them got it registered in their names. I went to DMV and gave me the name of the title holder. Did some research and found his number. I contacted him and he said he was sick and would get a duplicate the next day to sign over to me. I waited a week and called him back and left a message. His nephew called me back and said his uncle was sick and decided he didnt feel up to helping me and not to bother him anymore. This is in Missouri.
