Can you give example of the letter I can send to the agent and also the people in charge of the room
Sure, here is an example of a formal demand letter you can send to both the agent and the person in charge of the room:
---
[Your Name]
[Your Address]
[City, State, ZIP Code]
[Email Address]
[Phone Number]
[Date]
[Agent's Name]

Subject: Demand for Refund of Payment
Dear [Agent's Name],
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing regarding the payment of *,* Naira made on [Date] for a room in a *-bedroom flat located at [Property Address]. Due to unforeseen circumstances and a misunderstanding about the number of occupants allowed in the room, I am requesting a full refund of my payment.
Despite not having moved into the property and not receiving a receipt of payment, I was informed that a refund would only be issued once a new tenant is found. This condition is unacceptable as it was not disclosed at the time of payment.
Under the Nigerian Consumer Protection Council (CPC) Act, consumers are entitled to seek redress for unfair practices. I believe the refusal to refund my payment constitutes an unfair practice. Therefore, I amformally demanding a full refund of *,* Naira within 14 days from the date of this letter.
Failure to comply with this request will leave me no choice but to pursue further legal action through the Consumer Protection Council (CPC) and possibly small claims court.
I hope we can resolve this matter amicably and promptly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
