I am purchasing a home in Macoupin county on a contract for deed. The contract has been in place for over a year. Each month our payment includes, principal, interest, taxes and insurance. The seller takes the money and is supposed to pay the taxes. However, we just found out she did not pay the taxes and our property's tax certificate was sold. Isn't this a breach of contract?
