My name is Jennifer worman and my father Walter wright owns the property I live on at * Clinton ave, kasilof, ak *, the neighbor is JD Bragg and he owns the airstrip next to my property. Since we bought the property in * we have had a front driveway that you enter on Clinton and then a rear driveway the comes out onto a side trail that runs along the airstrip back to Clinton ave. When I spoke to the previous owner of the airstrip Tom Hudson he informed me that my property at * Clinton ave has had both the rear and front driveways since he bought the neighboring property back in * plus the 2 years prior that he was house sitting. The rear driveway was all gravel and the trees were cut back you could tell it was a driveway.
It sounds like you might be dealing with a property or easement issue. Could you let me know if there have been any recent disputes or changes regarding the use of the rear driveway or the airstrip that prompted your question?
Yes JD has blocked the rear driveway with piles of nasty mixed dirt
It seems you're dealing with a property access dispute. In Washington, easement rights can be complex. If the driveway has been used openly and continuously for a long time, you might have a prescriptive easement. Consider these steps:
- Gather evidence of long-term use (photos, testimonies).
- Review property deeds for any listed easements.
- Consult with a property attorney for guidance.
Has JD Bragg given any reasons for blocking the driveway, or have you tried discussing this with him?
JD won't be civil, he's a spoiled trust fund brat.
It sounds like you're facing a challenging situation with your neighbor, JD. In Washington, when dealing with easement issues, especially for property access, communication is key but can be difficult.
Here are some steps you might consider:
- Document Everything: Keep records of the driveway's long-term use, any communication attempts, and the current blockage.
- Check Deeds: Look for any mention of easements in property records.
- Consult a Lawyer: A property attorney can offer assistance specific to your case.
Have you explored any legal avenues or discussions with JD or other neighbors to resolve this?
