Eviction And Replevin Process

Summary

In Wisconsin, if youre a co-owner of a property and face issues with an unlawful occupant, you can start with a 5-Day Notice to Vacate for eviction. If your pet is being held against your will, consider filing a replevin action to reclaim it. This involves filing a complaint in the county where the pet is located and serving it to the person holding your pet. Additionally, if the occupant is preventing you from accessing your property, contacting the sheriff for removal is a viable option. This is especially important if theres potential for physical harm or property damage. For personalized advice, consult a local attorney.

Can I have him removed if I contact a sheriff ? He doesn’t have permission to be there and he will not let me on my own property
Yes, you can contact the sheriff to have him removed, as he is unlawfully occupying your property and preventing you from accessing it. Since this involves potential physical harm and property damage, involving law enforcement is appropriate.
