I am asking for a friend. She hit a deer while driving home and totaled her car about a month ago. She had bought the car only two three months prior. Her car insurance company gave her a claim number for the accident. However since that time no one at the company we will return her calls or send her information about her claim and she is desperate to get it settled because she is paying car payments on two different cars now because she had to get another car to get to work. She is also received information from coworkers that her car company has a reputation for being extremely difficult to work with. I am hoping to get her in contact with a lawyer who will contact the company on her behalf so it will get their attention to settle this claim. Can you help me. This is in the state of Tennessee. Is there a Tennessee state official that can assist her with consumer law?
