my name is jennifer
Hi Jennifer, can you please elaborate on how Angi Leads misled you and what services they were supposed to provide for your payment?
they called while on vacation asking if I’m interested in angi lead’s service. I was in the very beginning stage of starting a contacting business with my partner. They ask for a credit card number and assured me I was not going to get charged till I set everything up. I gave him my invester/mothers card information. He assured me again it wouldn’t be charged. Then text me a link to a contact and told me to accept it. He never told me that once I accepted it, they would charge the card. I was on the phone with him while I accepted it and felt rushed to do so. Especially because I was on vacation with my family. I didn’t know till a couple days ago that my moms card got charged.
Did you or your mother authorize the charge or sign any agreement with Angi Leads?
no she didn’t sign anything

and even after talking to them and explaining everything. That I was mislead to think I wasn’t getting charged untill I set up my account on my phone, I made sure they canceled the service
Have you contacted your bank to report these unauthorized charges and initiate a chargeback?
now I wake up freaking out cause they charged her again this morning for almost $*
Did you or your mother contact the bank to dispute the latest charge of $*?
she is contacting the bank today
That's a good step. Did you also report this incident to your local consumer protection agency or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)?
my mother didn’t contact them, she asked me to. She’s a sweet old lady and last time she tried to dispute something similar with RVShare, they yelled at her and called her names. So she’s traumatized. Now she has medical issues due to all the stress.
I'm sorry to hear about your mother's situation. Have you reported this incident to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or your local consumer protection agency?
No. What would reporting this due?

we rented an tv for a family trip. The owner said it was in safe conditions. But we left his house and it was shaking but thought because it was an RV that it was normal
What happened after you noticed the RV was shaking? Did you contact the owner or RVShare about this issue?
The next day the shaking got worse. We couldn’t drive over * mph
Did you report the issue to RVShare or the owner of the RV?
we looked at the tire and it appeared that one wheel weight fell off
Did you report the issue with the tire to the owner or RVShare immediately after discovering it?
so instead of canceling our trip and having the owner tow it we decided to take it to a shop and get a new weight put on
Did you inform the owner or RVShare about your decision to repair the RV?
they mechanic said the wheel had about *-* different wheel weights on that one tire. That exceeded the limit a wheel can have. They said there must be something wrong with the rim and someone tried to fix it by just adding a bunch of weights
Did you document the mechanic's findings and share them with the owner or RVShare?
i told him. I talked to him and told him I fixed the wheel and it works better than when we picked it up
What was the owner's response when you informed him about the wheel repair?
I have pictures of the wheel
Did you share these pictures and the mechanic's report with the owner or RVShare?
he just said ok
Did you report this issue and share the evidence with RVShare?
then a few days after that the back driver side tire blew up on the highway

What actions did RVShare take when you reported the tire blowout incident?
I got no response
What was the final resolution with the owner and RVShare regarding the tire blowout incident?
I fixed the tire and put nice tires on both the rear diver side and rear passenger side. Just to be safe.
turns out those tires were very worn. And they were dry rotted. And even though I have pictures he denied it saying those tires were good for another *,* miles
Did you report the condition of the tires to RVShare along with the pictures as evidence?
The final result was he yelled at us. Called us shady. Said it was our fault and I wasn’t getting my deposit back and now they want an extra $*
What was RVShare's response when you reported the owner's behavior and the additional charge of $*?
no not yet. I talked to them but I got no response. I’m not sure what I can do. The whole trip was the worst experience of our lives. The RV broke down on the highway and we almost got it. My mom has medical issues due to the stress. She’s has ptsd and ibs and is traumatized
Have you considered seeking legal advice regarding this matter?

General Information:
- Consumer fraud is illegal and can be reported to the local authorities.
- Document all interactions and keep evidence for potential legal proceedings.
I never heard from them after the RV was dropped off.
What actions have you taken since you last heard from RVShare?
we spend over $* and all our vacation time just fixing his RV
I haven’t done anything yet. My mom talked to the owner and he apologized for yelling but said we hit something and we’re trying to lie about it. He liked the new tires we bought. He said he would reimburse us for the tires and weight but he never did
