My fiancé is incarcerated currently he is being held on some charges that he’s innocent on and prosecutors aren’t even looking at the case. They’re just looking at his history and offering him basically bullying him into taking a plea of 10 years and he’s innocent he doesn’t have it in him to fight it because they’ll just keep him in jail for years waiting for a trial While lawyers go on vacation and they’re building a case etc. but he’s innocent. Is there anything I can do to help him.
It sounds like a tough situation, ****. Here are a few steps you might consider:
- Hire a Competent Defense Attorney: Ensure he has a skilled criminal defense attorney who can advocate for him.
- Gather Evidence: Collect any evidence that supports his innocence.
- File a Motion: His lawyer can file a motion to dismiss if there’s insufficient evidence.
- Contact Advocacy Groups: Reach out to legal aid organizations in Washington for support.
Would you like help connecting with local lawyers who can assist further?
