I have a criminal Case in Williamson county Illinois where there is several questions about a search warrant
Hi Amber! To better assist you with your search warrant concerns, could you clarify what specific issues or questions you have about it? For instance, are you questioning the validity, execution, or the evidence obtained from the warrant?
On June 1st * I was at my friend's house when they executed a warrant at 232am. They took us all to jail for the evidence that was found inside. Even though I was just visiting and it wasn't mine. They towed my car and didn't tell me they did until I was being released 2 days later with no charges then the following day they added them charges back to me even though my friend said everything was his. The search warrant was time-stamped for June 1st * @ 139pm. The cops submitted a warrant to the court that was time-stamped June 1st * @ * am. The signatures on both warrants don't match the judges signature who supposedly signed it. It's the the same judge who is over the case. Cops had no body cameras on either
It sounds like you have some serious issues with the search warrant's validity and execution. Here are some general considerations:
- Warrant Validity: Any discrepancies in time-stamping or signatures can potentially invalidate a warrant.
- Body Cameras: Lack of body camera footage can raise questions about the execution of the warrant.
- Chain of Custody: Incorrect procedures could impact the admissibility of evidence.
