I have some citations from the Milwaukee WI police’s Dept that are unfair
Hello ****, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Could you please specify the nature of these citations? This will help me provide you with more accurate information.
I was at Planet Fitness in Greenfield WI last August. I had a disagreement with the worker there. He called the cops. The cops hand cuffed me and thru me in the police car. Not telling me why. I kept asking. The one police officer kept punching me in the leg. I was taken into the police station. Not arrested. Let me go. I wrote a letter telling what had happened and then received * citations in the mail in November! Resisting arrest, lying in a letter, etc. can that even be legal? Receiving citations 3 months later?
Hi ****, I'm sorry to hear about your situation. As per the law in Wisconsin:
- There's no specific time limit for issuing citations.
- Resisting arrest is a crime if you obstructed an officer.
- False statements to police can result in citation.
