Self Defense And Trespassing
Full Conversation
went through a break to a year ago. My ex moves out. She returns about a month later waking in my home. I asked her to leave several times and she proceeded to come in my home anyway. I grabbed the waist line of her pants to prevent further entry and and began to use the stair rail to continue to Gain entry. She had a couple scratches from a ring I was wearing. I finally got her to leave after about * minutes of arguing then she filed assault charges on me. Will this stick in court being and wasn't on my lease and was basically a trespassing intruder at the moment of the incident

In Texas:
- Self-defense can be valid if you reasonably feared harm.
- Trespassing occurs if someone enters your property without consent.
However, this is a complex case. You should consult with a local attorney for advice.
