I am trying to figure out what kind of defense I can muster up from a burglary two charge in which I was not guilty of what they are accusing me of. I got permission from the property owners secretary, he did not know she was allowing people to go inside these homes that were to be torn down. she said all the trailers marked with an X We could go in. there was * trailers. Most had been torn down and there was one or two left. I went out there and the police pulled up as I was inside seeing if there was any materials I could salvage because she said we could. when the police pulled up, I went out and greeted them, told them what I was doing there, they called her up there and she proceeded to tell them that she told me it was trailers with a red X.
Hey ****! Based on your situation, here are some general points that might be helpful in forming a defense for a burglary charge in Oklahoma:
- Permission: Show evidence that you had permission from the secretary to be on the property.
- Miscommunication: Argue that any misunderstanding was due to a miscommunication about the trailers with an "X."
- Intent: Emphasize that you did not intend to commit a crime and were upfront with the police.
