Hey Amber! Yes, you can file a motion to suppress even if you have a public defender. Your public defender will still represent you after you submit the motion. It's a good idea to discuss this with them so they can guide you on the best approach.
Because my public defender isn't putting one in for me and the I have all the evidence to have my charges dropped and he's not doing his job
Amber, if you feel your public defender isn't adequately representing you, consider the following steps:
- Communicate your concerns directly to your public defender.
- If unresolved, contact their supervisor or the public defender's office.

I was at my friend Joseph sloats residence at * North 12th Street in Herrin Illinois * on June 1st *. And while I was there the Williamson county sheriff's department served a search warrant of the residence. They found methamphetamine and paraphernalia and other items during the search the police then took everyone that was in the home to jail I was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia the next day I was released with no charges then the next day I had the charges put back on me even though just a slope said that everything that they found was his. Then I was looking at the search warrant that the cops left at his home it was dated * of * at *:* p.m. they came in his home on June 1st of 2a.m. the signature on the warrant does not match the judge's signature then the search warrant that the police submitted to the court is time stamped June 1st * at *:* a.m.
