I was charged with a Felony Aggravated Battery and I signed a plea deal for a misdemeanor battery. Idaho doesn't do extradition over misdemeanor. But I haven't got sentenced yet. I was wondering if I left state and didn't go to sentencing could they state somehow pursue the felony again.
Skipping your sentencing could potentially lead to serious consequences. Here's why:
- A warrant could be issued for your arrest.
- The court could revoke your plea deal and reinstate the felony charges.
- You might face additional charges for failing to appear in court.
As always, consult with your attorney on this matter.
