i had a text fight with my girlfriend that got out of hand and i texted her "I'll kill you" and she reported it to the police and now i have a warrant. she has had some mental health issues but now she is sorry and wishes she never did that . what can she do to explain that this whole event was all her fault because of her unprovoked and vicious verbal attack on me during a manic episode when she literally would not stop badgering me until i "snapped" and thats when i sent that text?

- She can contact the police and explain her mental health condition and her wish to retract her report, though it may not be enough to dismiss the charges.
- You should consider hiring a lawyer to help with your defense.
