So my friend is letting me stay at his grandmothers house, he also has no ownership of the house by the way, anyways- He had his iPhone in the room we share and at some point i left for a few hours and then he got up, left for a few hours, didnt realize it was gone, then i came back a second time to grab my dog and immediately leave after, then he apparently comes back a second time after me and claims it was missing then.

In Georgia, the police would need probable cause to issue a warrant, which typically involves some evidence or witness statements suggesting you were involved in the alleged crime. Since your friend has already contacted the police, it would be wise to gather any evidence and possibly seek legal advice to understand your rights and options.
