I’m in drug court and i live in louisiana. i am pregnant and im on a medication that they do not allow to be taken in jail. i made a mistake by getting something out of someone’s vehicle that was in drug court and got a sanction. it was illegal mushrooms. a lot of them. i kept them in my vehicle and attempted to sell them because im financially unstable and can’t afford my weekly rent at my sober living. i got pulled over thursday and the cops offered me a deal that if i work for them going undercover attempting to buy drugs from people, they would keep me out of jail. i have open charges for the mushrooms and im terrified of both options. i can work for them and be at risk of so many different outcomes of going undercover. and i want to tell drug court but i know id be facing time. i dont know how much time but i know that i cannot detox from the medication im on while pregnant otherwise i can miss carry or go into early labor.
