I need help. In * I got charged with Exploitation of a Child. He lied about his age and it was a misdemeanor. 10 years register as a sex offender. DCFS said I was fit to be around children. I have * of my own. Well I was living in a apartment and also registered there. Well I guess there was a park behind the apartments and they measure property line to property line. I got charged failure to register and got 10 years. Well October of * was supposed to be my last day to register.

Supposedly in August I was a day late which was not brought to my attention until October when I was expecting to be done with it and they charged me another 10 years I was not guilty of that I never got arrested I never got charged and I don't feel it's right that they added 10 years to my time when I wasn't even convicted. Now the time before that I got arrested and did get charged so I took the extra 10 years in August I do not believe that I was late, why would I mess up 2 months before it's over with? I do not feel like I should be registering right now I feel like October was the end. And no I never got arrested for convicted no police issues at all they just added it to my time if I was late registering I should have been arrested
