August 2nd I was having extreme sciatic nerve pain that was so intense I was shaking profusely after falling in my apartment three times, one of which I fell on my hip and knocked myself out for a few minutes after hitting my head into the floor. I crawled over to my kitchen to grab the phone to call * as I could not even stand up to walk. Paramedics arrived and they physically could see that I was in no condition to walk and They Carried me onto the stretcher and took me to Northwestern . In the EMS truck that I took to the emergency room they gave me something for pain as my pain level was way above * on a scale of one to *. Once I arrived at the hospital I took me back to a room of my own to be observed. Explain to them what had happened that due to extreme shakiness from the pain my sciatic nerve I can't even hardly walk and that I have now falling for three times lesbian hitting my head hip and elbow. They sent me down for CAT scans MRI. Fortunately nothing came back that. But it's still not explain why I was shaking so badly with the sciatic nerve pain. Again the doctors give me more medication morphine Oxycontin Valium you name it and told me I would have to be discharged as there was nothing more the hospital could do. I said what do you mean. He said it's not like you have a broken bone and we would have to operate. I think that's wrong I don't think you should be sent away from the hospital just because you don't have a broken bone. Everyone at the hospital nurses doctors Etc saw the condition I was in where I couldn't even stand up the nurse had to put my shorts on and put in my button them as I could not do it myself due to the shakingness it took two nurses to put me in the wheelchair to push me out to the lobby as I waited for an Uber to arrive. They left me alone and I waited out there for * minutes. Once the Uber driver picked me up and brought me home I went to stand up onto this cement and my legs gave in again and I collapsed falling down onto the pavement I had to do the army crawl scraping up my legs even more so to a bed to pull myself up. The Uber driver jumped out went into the back of his car and grabbed a towel and see all the blood was all over my legs shoes feet. I told him he could go I was just going to sit on the bench until I gained enough strength to go to my apartment. He asked me which apartment was mine. I pointed out I have one on the first floor with the patio it's right over there. You picked me up and literally dragged me to my apartment. He was unbelievable once I got inside my apartment again I collapsed now there's blood on my shears now there is blood on my carpet now there's more blood on my leg and on the towel. I could not even think clearly. The driver wanted to put me in to my bed I just did not have the strength. So I told him just to let me be laying in here on the living room floor. I slept there for * hours. I woke up as I had to go to the bathroom. I could not physically stand up to walk to the bathroom even utilizing a cane. I had peed my pants. There has to be laws protecting people like me for unsafe discharge all the faculty and the doctors and nurses knew what condition I was before trying to discharge me but yet they refuse to let me stay there even if for a couple hours for observation would have been helpful what if I would have had a seizure once again who would have called because they couldn't reach to the phone and that I live alone and what if there was a fire how would I be able to get out of my place as it couldn't stand to walk. So many questions regarding this situation question or loss system is there anybody out there that can protect a person like me. Thank you for your time my name is **** Hoban * * *
