I live in Washington. Currently having to move because landlord isn't going to renew my lease for reasons unknown and have to be out by the 30th. I have received a *-day comply-or-vacate notice on the 7th for smoking in the unit in which i have been complying and to be honest don't even know why they are even accusing me of smoking in the unit. And then i also received an email about items i have stored outside my unit in the backyard in which i have had there since i moved in and they never had a problem til now. And they are saying if i don't do something about it by the 21st that they will get a trailer and remove the items and charge me for the disposal. I have yet to move out so they can't touch my belongings correct? And at this point they have just been harassing me and now threatening me. What can i do? Also during the year I've lived here i was without hot water for 10 months straight.
I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Here are some steps you can take:

- Tenancy Rights: In Washington, landlords can't remove your belongings without a court order.
