Hello,
I hope you are doing well, my name is **** ****, and I am reaching out to seek legal advice regarding the circumstances surrounding my late father's passing.
My father, Albert ****, was a Purple Heart Recipient and Vietnam Veteran who after his time in the Army spent 36 years of his life as a Police Officer with the San Diego Police Department. Tragically, he succumbed to complications from his war injuries and dementia three years ago. His final months were marked by isolation and deprivation of essential rights due to the bullshit COVID-* lockdowns enforced in California at the time.
My father was as a practicing Catholic, he was denied his last rites when my family attempted to arrange for a visit from our Parish Priest. This denial of his First Amendment rights has left us deeply troubled as we watched our Father slowly die alone and be denied his rights after serving his entire life.
As I consider the possibility of legal action, I am unsure of the appropriate course to take and whom to hold accountable for these injustices. I do not know if it should be The State of California, relevant health authorities, the nursing home responsible for my father's care, or individuals involved in enforcing COVID-* regulations, such as Dr. Anthony Fauci, who as now openly admitted to lying (shocker I know) about his “policies”
I am writing to seek your professional option on the viability of pursuing a lawsuit in this matter. Given my limited financial resources as a recent graduate entering the law enforcement field and my mother who is a retired Police Officer who makes good but not great money, I do know want pursue this if it will lead to nothing
I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice you can offer regarding the strength of my potential case and potential avenues for funding legal representation. Additionally, if you are unavailable to assist directly, I would be grateful for any recommendations you could provide for reputable legal professionals specializing in wrongful death or civil rights law.
Thank you for any help you may be able to offer in this matter it would be invaluable to me and my family as we seek closure and justice for my late father.

Would that be considered wrongful death?
Hello ****,
I'm sorry for your loss. Wrongful death claims often involve negligence or misconduct that led directly to someone's death. It's complex in your case as it involves public health measures. A local attorney can provide more specific advice based on California law.
