My pipe burst and flooded throughout my home. Water covered my entire kitchen and partially dining room, living room, master bathroom and bedroom area. A restoration company was called they removed the baseboards and had * fans and drying equipment. It took 5 days to get the moisture out the walls and house. When the insurance adjuster came he estimated everything for $4k. I was told I needed to replace my kitchen cabinets, kitchen island, replace carpet, and bathroom built in. We had to pay for a plumber to come and fix the pipe. My claim was denied due to wear and tear. I asked the insurance company I was to predict the pipe to burst.
