Summary
Camp Lejeune lawsuits often take years due to the large number of claimants and government processes. Indiana law imposes strict deadlines for child sexual abuse lawsuits, but exceptions may apply based on discovery of harm or recent legal changes. Some states have eliminated statutes of limitations for such cases, but Indiana has not fully done so. Filing a petition to challenge the statute may be an option. Both cases require legal attention, and connecting with experienced lawyers is recommended.Full Conversation
Yes. I’m wanting to sue the Catholic Church for the sexual battery and molestation to me when I was a child
I’m sorry to hear about what you’ve been through. Indiana has specific time limits (statutes of limitations) for filing lawsuits in child sexual abuse cases, but there may be exceptions based on when you discovered the harm or due to recent legal changes. Would you like me to help connect you with a lawyer experienced in this area?
You are wrong! Many other states got the statutes of limitations dropped due to the serious crime it is. You can check on that. It’s happening right now. I filed a complaint with the Archdiocese of Indianapolis and they know what I said is true. They are guilty

Indiana law on child sexual abuse lawsuits has changed over time, but it still imposes strict deadlines. Currently, Indiana allows survivors to file civil suits until age *, or within 7 years of discovering the harm. Some states have broader windows, but Indiana hasn’t fully dropped its statute of limitations yet. Exceptions may apply in unique cases.
Would you like to explore connecting with a lawyer to review your options?
I researched this and every state where this crime was committed and about * states now got the statute dropped

Indiana has not yet eliminated statutes of limitations for child sexual abuse claims entirely, unlike some states. However, changes in the law or specific circumstances may allow exceptions. Would you like to focus on your Camp Lejeune case, or should I prioritize connecting you with a lawyer about the Church abuse matter?
Both . All we would have to do is puttion the court to get this statute dropped. No state was turned down so far
