Sorry im in Fort worth, Texas, recieved a settlement and recived a check i was told was a partial payment, she told me they had to make sure my Dad didn't owe anyone or had any other children & then they would release the balance, i waited about 3 month's & contacted the lawyer & she said there was no more monies coming as my medicare took the balance. I asked for an itemized bill from the hospital to show this & she sent me an email saying they did not have to provide this, is this true?
