Tenant Liability For Injuries

Summary

If a prospective tenant is injured during a tour of your townhouse, liability depends on the cause. The landlord may be liable if the injury is due to their negligence. However, if the injury results from a dangerous condition in your home that you knew about but did not disclose, you could be held responsible. Consult a local attorney for specific legal advice.

I rent a townhouse in Cincinnati, Ohio and because my townhouse is well appointed I allow my landlord to show my home to prospective tenants when other units become available. He compensates me with a $* Kroger gift car each time. If someone hurts themselves while touring my home, who is liable? Me or the Landlord?
