I was on either SSI or SSDI when I was a child and I was in a foster home when I turned * and was kicked out but I didn't know how anything worked and I never received it again and my case worker from the state never helped me out I was left in the street with no help from department of human services

Can I still receive my SSI/SSDI if my case worker and the Colorado department of human services were responsible for me but failed to do their job and never did what they were legally responsible to do?

No because I'm just finding out about this so I'm just trying to figure out what I can do and if it is worth my time to pursue the issue or not.
